H2 Injection

Icelandic Hydrogen has been developing and testing gas generators for the injection of hydrogen rich gas into diesel engines to enable faster and cleaner burning of carbon based fuels, lowering fuel consumption and emissions. A 200 kW diesel engine Generation system as a testing bench has been built into a 20“ container and the first tests did show the effect of lowering the consumption. Energy saving solutions do have the highest potential of making the most signifcant impact for lowering emissions in the near future. Icelandic Hydrogen is doing feasibility studies of the technology and its potential with our partners.
