Icelandic Hydrogen Highway
Icelandic Hydrogen is working towards the future hydrogen refueling infrastructure solutions focusing on small scale hydrogen refueling stations.
This has been the focus of the research activities in the years before the foundation of the company and the introduced solutions have been met with
great interest from highly regarded players in the field of the hydrogen economy.
Icelandic Hydrogen has offered the icelandic Ministry of Industry its strong participation in the building up of the hydrogen infrastructure in Iceland and
has in conjunction quoted the first 700 bar station to be raised in Iceland to Vistorka. Vistorka is an Icelandic holding company owing 51% of the shares in
Icelandic New Energy with Daimler, Statoil Hydro and Shell Hydrogen each owing around 16%.
Icelandic New Energy, a public-private company has been in the
forefront of introducing the hydrogen technology and has been working on
and managed hydrogen projects in Iceland since 1999.
